"It was a very special and fantastic experience to actually stand on the Silk Road," he said. Mme. Hnin Ei Mon from Myanmar said, “I haven’t been to China before. However, we can feel the beauty of China in the warm-up video. I hope I will travel to China one day in the future.” Participants are interested in China’s beautiful landscape and also look forward to learning about China's profound history and enjoying its splendid and diverse culture. In addition, they praised China’s tremendous achievements in social-economic development since the launch of reform and opening up in 1978.
“The seminar was a wonderful and fruitful experience.”
During the seminar, AIBO made full preparations for lectures and invited a number of experts and scholars to introduce China’s experience in reform and opening up and economic development. “China is like a teacher who is delighted to share her experience”
Mme. Hnin Ei Mon,Vice Director of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations of Myanmar, used a vivid example at the closing ceremony to illustrate the significance of this seminar to the participants and their countries. She said, “The economy of developing countries is just like little mushrooms. The land they live on boasts rich natural recourse. Our government officials are like gardeners take care of them and hope they can be healthy. At the same time, we should learn lessons from other excellent countries, including China which has many such kinds of gardeners sparing no effect on caring for those mushrooms and they are our friends and mentors providing skills and guidance needed for the growth of mushrooms so that we can continue to make progress. I believe that after this seminar we can contribute more to promoting trade and development in our own country more efficiently and practically.”
