For your convenience and safety, please review the following guidelines:

●Laws and Customs: During your stay, please abide by Chinese laws and regulations and respect local customs. If you have any questions, our staff are happy to assist.

Passport Safety: Please safeguard your passport at all times, as it is required for hotel check-in, currency exchange, and travel by air or high-speed rail.

Personal Safety: When exploring on your own, please remain vigilant regarding your personal safety and belongings.

Hotel Regulations: After checking in, please adhere to hotel policies. Smoking in rooms and using high-power electrical appliances are strictly prohibited.

Health Concerns: If you experience any health issues, please contact our seminar staff immediately for advice or assistance.

Seminar Attendance: Please arrive on time for all scheduled activities. If you are unable to attend, please inform the staff in advance and ensure your own safety during your absence.

Travel Regulations: When taking flights or high-speed trains, strictly follow regulations regarding prohibited items. Detailed travel tips will be provided by our staff before your trip.

Regulation of China Domestic Flights Luggage

The luggage can be divided into 3 categories: checked Luggage, hand luggage, cabin luggage.

► Checked luggage is the luggage which passengers turn over to the airlines for consigning before departing, and after arriving they could get back.

► Hand luggage can be put under the seat or on the luggage-rack, but it has limits of dimension and weight.

► Cabin luggage’s weight is included in the weight of checked luggage, but it is with the passenger in the cabin and took care by the passenger.


Free checked luggage allowance:

For the passenger with adult ticket or half-price ticket, the regulate weight for free luggage is different in different cabin.

Note: The carry-on luggage should be not larger than 20cm x 40cm x 55cm (7.8 x 15.7 x 21.6 inches).


The carry-on luggage will be checked with other luggage too. Any luggage in excess of the free luggage, or the carry-on luggage allowance, there will be an excess luggage charge that the passenger should pay.


Charge for overweight luggage

For China domestic flights, the charging rate of overweight luggage per kg is 1.5% times full ticket price.

The regulation for the charging rate of overweight luggage for each Chinese airlines company may be a little different, Please check with the airline you choose.


List of Restricted Items in Hand and Checked Luggage

Ⅰ. Items that are banned in hand luggage but are allowed in checked luggage

(Ⅰ) Sharp instrument

Instrument with sharp edge or point, made by metal or other materials, hard enough to cause injuries, including:

1. Knives for daily use (with blade longer than 6cm), such as kitchen knife, fruit knife, scissors, art knife, paper cutter;

2. Knives for professional use (with any length), such as scalpel, butcher's knife, carving knife, planer tool, milling cutter;

3. Knife, spear, sword and halberd for martial art performance.

(Ⅱ) Blunt instrument

Instrument without sharp edge or point, made by metal or other materials, hard enough to cause injuries, including:

Sticks (including telescopic bars, nunchakus), bats, billiard sticks, cricket rackets, hockey sticks, golf clubs, alpenstocks, ski poles, knuckle-dusters;

(Ⅲ) Others

Other substances that can cause injuries or endanger aviation safety and transportation order, including:

1. Tools, such as drill (including bit), chisel, awl, saw, stud gun, nail gun, screw driver, crowbar, hammer, pliers, welding gun, spanner, axe, hatchet, vernier caliper, ice axe, ice pick;

2. Other objects, such as dart, slingshot, bow, arrow, buzzer self-defense device and shock machine not controlled by the state, Mace gas, tear gas, pepper spray, acid spray, animal removing spray, etc.

Ⅱ. Items that are conditionally allowed in hand or checked luggage

(Ⅰ) Items that are conditionally allowed in hand luggage but unconditionally allowed in checked luggage

1. For international and regional flights, liquids carried in hand luggage must be in a container of no more than 100ml (if the volume of the container is more than 100ml, it is not allowed even when the liquid in it is less than 100mL or 100g), and the container must be in a single, transparent, re-sealable plastic bag with a volume of less than 1L. Only one bag is allowed for each traveler, and those beyond this limit should be put in the checked luggage.

2. For domestic flights, liquids are not allowed in hand luggage (except cosmetics, toothpastes and shaving cream for private use during the air travel). Cosmetics for private use during the air travel in hand luggage must meet the following three requirements: only one for each type, carried in a container of no more than 100mL, and subject to bottle-open check. If the volume of the container is more than 100ml, it is not allowed in hand luggage even when the cosmetics, toothpaste and shaving cream in it is less than 100mL or 100g. Duty-free liquids carried in hand luggage of travelers transfer from international and regional flights to domestic flights through the same airport controlled area must meet the following three requirements: with receipt or invoice, put in a transparent, sealed and intact plastic bag, subject to security check. If the traveler leave the airport controlled area during flight transfer, the duty-free liquids must be put in checked luggage.

(Ⅱ) Items that are banned in hand luggage but are conditionally allowed in checked luggage

Alcoholic beverage is not allowed in hand luggage, but is allowed in checked luggage with the following conditions:

1. Put in retailing package with complete and clear label; each container must be no more than 5L;

2. No restriction upon the number of drinks with alcohol content of 24% or less;

3. The number of drinks with alcohol content of more than 24% and less than 70% in checked luggage for each traveler must no exceed 5L.

(Ⅲ) Items that are banned in checked luggage but are conditionally allowed in hand luggage

Power bank and lithium battery is not allowed in checked luggage, but is allowed in hand luggage with the following conditions (lithium battery for electric wheelchairs is otherwise provided):

1. With complete and clear label and rated energy no more than 100Wh;

2. Battery with rated energy more than 100Wh and no more than 160Wh must be approved by the airlines. Each traveler can carry no more than two such batteries.

Ⅲ. Other items whose transportation is banned by the state law, administrative laws and regulations.


Regulation of Taking Railway

Regulation size of the baggage on the train

It is better to ensure your hand-carrying baggage within the dimensions of 60 x 35 x 35 cm.

◆That means the total dimensions are measured by adding together the depth, height and length of the bag, which is: 130cm = 60cm (Length) + 35cm (Width) + 35cm (Height).

◆Rod-shaped baggage should be under length of 200 cm


Tips for taking baggage on the train

► Because of the limited baggage space in the train, it is better to pack a small baggage as possible as you can so that you can have a comparative convenient train tour in China.

► If your luggage is over-weight or over-length, you have to have your large luggage be checked and transferred by freight, and pick up it when you arrive at your destination.


The Following Articles Are Prohibited to be Taken on Train

► Dangerous goods, ammunition, and chemical products that the carrier can not determine the nature

►combustible and explosive goods

►Toxic, corrosive, radioactive, infectious and dangerous goods

► Any sizes of knife

► Animals (except guide dog) and things that has a bad effect on public health (including items with fetid odor)

►Items that may cause damage or pollution on train

►Three or more lighters, three boxes of matchsticks or more

►More than 20 ml of nail polish, delusterant, hair dye; more than 100 ml of alcohol, cold wave lotion; more than 120 ml of mousse, hair gel, insecticide and air freshener

►Normally each passenger can carry two bottles of wine, totally 1000 ml.
